Our Beliefs | JC Rock Ministries
What we believe shapes everything we do. These are the core convictions that anchor JC Rock Ministries—truth rooted in the absolute authority of GOD’s Word.
GOD
GOD is One (1) in essence and Three (3) in person: FATHER, SON, HOLY SPIRIT. He is the creator of heaven, earth, humanity, nature, and all living creatures.
JESUS
JESUS is the one and only begotten son of the FATHER, born of a virgin woman. He lived a perfect and sinless life, and He is the only savior, redeemer, and mediator of humanity.
His death on the cross is the payment for our sins and the means by which GOD grants us forgiveness, grace, and mercy when we respond with repentant faith to trust in Him—and Him alone—for salvation. Believing in His resurrection on the 3rd day guarantees our eternal life and adoption to become children of GOD.
The HOLY SPIRIT
The HOLY SPIRIT is the person of GOD who teaches, convicts, leads, guides, counsels, comforts, and empowers the believer (Christian) in their life’s faith journey (sanctification).
The person of the HOLY SPIRIT also endows believers with spiritual gifts that are given to glorify GOD and be used to edify the church and be a sign to unbelievers.
The Scriptures
The Scriptures (GOD’s Word) are the most trustworthy and comprehensive resource available for the believer—GOD’s truth and testimony to humanity. They are infallible and the authority over the life of the believer.
The Church
The Church—both local and worldwide—is known and depicted by JESUS and the apostles as the BRIDE and BODY of CHRIST. No one person is the church; no one building is the church. The coming together and gathering of GOD’s people to collectively worship and serve GOD, overseen or governed by a pastor/elder—that is the church.
